THE BENJAMIN JESTY BICENTENARY
The bicentenary of Benjamin Jesty's death occured on the 16th April 2016.
THE BICENTENARY MEETING
A special meeting was held in Yetminster, Dorset, England
on Saturday 16th April 2016. This was hosted by The Hundred of Yetminster Local History Society.
Patrick gave a presentation :
"Benjamin Jesty: A Bicentenary Review"
The meeting took place at The Jubilee Hall in Church Street at 2.30 pm.
All tickets were sold out. People attended from many parts of England.
There were two groups from the USA, including a family of three who had journeyed from Houston, Texas, just to attend the event. The afternoon was completed by an excellent buffet tea. Everyone enjoyed this historic occasion, which was featured on local BBC television and radio.
